Mr. Walsh
Bio
Mr. Walsh has been a part of our school community for over 21 years. He used to teach 5th grade and loves helping kids learn and grow.
Mr. Walsh studied Elementary Education and has learned more about visual arts too. He combines teaching and his love for art in his classroom. It's a bright and fun place where students can explore their creativity, try different art materials, and find their own artistic style.
Outside of school, Mr. Walsh is involved in the local arts community. He attends workshops and art shows. He believes art helps people grow and connect, and he wants his students to feel the same way.

Program Overview
Our Visual Arts Program helps students discover and grow their artistic talents. Led by Mr. Walsh, students from all grades learn different art techniques and mediums, such as drawing, painting, 3-D creations, printmaking, sculpting, collages, drawing figures, and digital art!
Student-Centered Learning
Our program helps students be creative, think, and express themselves. Students use their imaginations, take risks with their art, and find their own styles. Through hands-on projects and teamwork, they learn basic art skills, gain confidence, and feel proud of their work.
Program Highlights
School Art Exhibits: We regularly showcase student artwork in the school hallways. This allows students to share their creations with the school community and beyond.
Community Projects: Mr. Walsh hosts parent paint sessions at the school, bringing students and the local community together.
Our Beliefs
Our Visual Arts Program is more than just making art. It's about creating a supportive space where students can express themselves, see the beauty in the world around them, and develop a lifelong love for the arts.
